On September 25, 2015 Nashville's new Mayor Megan Barry took the oath of office, successfully becoming the first female Mayor in the history of Nashville / Davidson County.
Among those present was Angela "Gigi" de Lugo, a 4th generation U.S. Virgin Islander, award winning Nashville music publisher, feature film producer and creator of Planet CrindelStar children's story & music series.
