Tropic Heat Studios LLC Founder Gigi de Lugo Co-Producer of Gabriel Byrne Latest Feature Film AN LA MINUTE

Angela "Gigi" de Lugo, founder of Tropic Heat Studios, LLC & NashvilleUSVI agreed to join the project in August 2016 after meeting in Nashville with the film's Executive Producer, Mike Flanders, Managing Member of Spiderworx Media and former head of A&R of Arctic/BMG Australia.  Angela "Gigi" de Lugo, is now also a co-producer on this project.
     “An L.A. Minute,” is co-written by award winning writer/director Dan Adams and former National Lampoon and High Times editor-in-chief, Larry “Ratso” Sloman. The pic is a satirical look at fame, success, the star-making machinery and the karma that attaches to all those who worship at the altar of celebrity. 
     The film stars Gabriel Byrne and Kiersey Clemons,  with principal photography scheduled to begin November 22, 2016 in Savannah Georgia. An LA Minute is slated for a 2017 release with distribution through Hyde Park International.
     Clemons, who serves as co-producer in the film, landed the role of Iris West in Warner Bros’  theatrical release of The Flash opposite Ezra Miller, which will be out in 2018. Other film projectsOnly Living Boy In New York directed by Marc Webb, Sony’s Flatliners, and Little Bitches. She can currently be seen in Joe Swanberg’s Netflix anthology series Easy. Clemons is repped by UTA, MJMG and Mach 1 Management.

     Byrne, repped by Paradigm and The Agency, was recently on Broadway in Eugene O’Neill’s Long Day’s Journey Into Night opposite Jessica Lange, John Gallagher Jr. and Michael Shannon; his performance as James Tyrone earned him a Tony nom. His recent film credits include Louder Than Bombs with Isabelle Huppert, Jesse Eisenberg and Amy Ryan; The 33; and Vampire Academy.
    Angela "Gigi" de Lugo is an award winning Nashville-based music publisher, feature film producer, and 4th generation U.S. Virgin Islander began her career in the entertainment industry in the 1980's as a production coordinator on National and International commercials, and feature film "Weekend at Bernie's II", produced in the U.S. Virgin Islands.
